FROM THE PROMOTER'S DESK - JUNE 22, 2015

This Friday June 27th will be SAMPSON MOTOR CAR night at the speedway. Jerry and his wife Gloria have been long time supporters of Glen Ridge and local racers and will be our guests in the Hayes Tower located on the backstretch.

Racing will begin at 7:30 pm with the A VERDI STORAGE CONTAINER Sportsman class paying $750 to win this week and with sportsman eliminations during the intermission. The top six in points in attendance will makeup the field for the elimination with $100 going to the winner. Friday will be double points in the Modified and Cruiser classes and show up points for the Sportsman class due to a scheduling conflict which I am not very happy about.

In addition to the $750 first place money there will also be a tire awarded and some other prizes in the A Verdi 602 sportsman class.

The COUSINS CONSTRUCTION LLC Modified class will also be in action and we will see if Jeremy Wilder can repeat this week. Varin, Decker, Vedder, Rockerfeller, Becker, Price, Hanson, who will tame the "fastest quarter mile on dirt" this week.

The Cruiser class has been growing weekly and has been producing some close entertaining racing for the fans and other racers.

And remember this Friday is another FIVE DOLLAR FRIDAY for the grandstands. So bring a friend, bring a neighbor, bring a cousin, you can bring both girlfriends, but bring somebody and lets pack the stands. You are not going to see better racing ANYWHERE.
